On Tuesday, November 30th, 2022, several LACES members and the Board of Directors officially signed the bylaws of LACES in Montevideo, Uruguay. This event represents the official legal foundation of LACES and is a giant leap towards the consolidation of the association and important ongoing projects. This is a landmark in the history and further development of cardiac surgery in Latin America.
