The role of volunteer expertise and support is vital to LACES’ work. Cardiothoracic surgeon members from across the world, contribute to the Association’s work through their participation in important Committees, Domains and Task Forces across each of our clinical areas of interest and practice.

The Residents Committee of the Latin American Association of Cardiac and Endovascular Surgery (LACES RC) is a committee part of the Latin American Association of Cardiac and Endovascular Surgery (LACES), with the purpose to organize and promote scientific, educational and social activities that improve the training, education and networking of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery residents from LACES. The Residents’ Committee also aims to advise and support LACES activities in all matters concerned with the career experiences, training needs and professional development aspects of a resident cardiothoracic surgeon.

Residents in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, enrolled in medical residency programs and members of LACES, who complete the member LACES Residents Committee registration, will compose LACES Residents Committee. All members must sign the individual registration form.
